Robin Bös

Robin Bös was born in 1980, after receiving pianistical education, went on studying sound engineering in Detmold with Carlos Albrecht. He received musical education in piano. During his studies he had working experiences within the Emil Berliner Studios, Teldex and the Hessischer Rundfunk. In his projects he focused on the usage of Live Electronics with multi-channeled reproducing systems. Since 2009 he is Sound Director at the Bayreuther Festspiele. Robin Boes was member of the International Ensemble Modern Academy in 2011/2012, since 2012 he is Lecturer and Recording Producer at the Hochschule für Musik Trossingen, Germany. Furthermore he works as a Sound designer for the HR Hessischer Rundfunk (Hessian Broadcasting) Frankfurt and as a freelance producer and sound designer for various CD productions and performances, for example for the Ensemble Modern Frankfurt. The performance of Inkompetenzkompensationskompetenz for flute(s) and live electronics, which he produced together with Carolin Ralser has been critically acclaimed.
